Question: Does SunSage Capital hold my cash and investment securities?
No. Your assets are held by your custodian, Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is one of the largest and most respected US discount brokerage firms.

Question: Can I see what is happening in my account over the internet?
Yes. You can log onto Fidelity.com anytime and see your portfolio in action. In addition to the internet, you will receive monthly brokerage statements from Fidelity and quarterly statements from SunSage.

Question: How can I spend cash from my portfolio?
Many of our clients choose to setup Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs) via Fidelity's website to distribute or recieve funds periodically from banks or other institutions. If needed, Fidelity also offers check writing and debit cards for your custodial accounts.

Question: How much can I take from my portfolio?
In an emergency, your entire portfolio can be converted into cash in just days. If its income you are seeking, you may want to limit your spending to four percent or less of your portfolio's value on an annual basis. Spending less than four percent can increase the probability of continued portfolio and income growth.

Question: How do I pay SunSage Capital's portfolio management fee?
Our management fee is deducted directly from your account on a quarterly basis.

Question: Is it expensive to use Fidelity Investments as a broker?
No. Because you pay a quarterly custodial fee of $55, transactions are free for Fidelity's 'online only' accounts. If you require paper statements, Fidelity will charge you around $8 per trade.

Question: How much must we invest to have SunSage manage our portfolio?
We would enjoy serving you regardless of your account size. However, due to custodial fees, the minimum portfolio size for adults is $22,000. For children, there is no minimum portfolio size since Fidelity does not charge custodial fees on individual accounts under the age of 18.

Question: Is it expensive to use SunSage as my portfolio manager?
No. SunSage's management fee is significantly less than most mutual funds* and provides you with tailored portfolio management based on your needs. Because we do not believe in investment products (mutual funds, annuities, ect...) there are no additional 'hidden' costs. You will benefit from directly owning a portfolio of fundamentally solid individual stocks, bonds, and other hybrid instruments.

As seen above, the average mutual fund costs the investor 1.37% while SunSage cost just 0.95%. In addition, we can control when your account relizes tax gains or losses. Mutual funds must relize taxes every year and due to the nature of the product, you may need to pay taxes even in a down year. Annuities and other investment products can cost drastically more and have highly unattractive entry and exit costs. Long story short, SunSage provides professional, taylored management at a significant discount to high priced investment alternatives.
